Cupping Therapy

Scope of application:

– Pain
– Orthopedic disorders
– Immunomodulation
– Positive impact of the internal organs through the Head’s zones

Methods:

Bloodless cupping:
The cups are placed on the area to be treated. The skin is sucked. It creates a strong blood circulation and extravasation (leaked from a vessel located in the tissue blood fluid).

Cupping massage:
The cupping is placed on the area to be treated, then slided on the oiled skin over the area to be treated. The blood flow is strengthened through this massage. In my Holisitic Center in Heidelberg I combine the cupping massage with the bloodless cupping.

Bloody Cupping:
The skin area to be treated is scribed with a scarificator “Schröpfschnepper”. Then the cups are placed, to suck the blood from the wounds. Blood loss is most 25ccm per cupping. I do not perform this kind of cupping in my holistic practice.
