Ozone (O3) – is a molecule consisting of three oxygen atoms. It is the high-energy, active form of oxygen and is therefore also called “active oxygen”.
Medical (medical) ozone is a mixture of 0.05 to 5% of the purest ozone and 99.95 to 95% of medically pure oxygen produced by silent electrical discharge in ozone generators.
The medicine uses its bactericidal, viricidal and fungicidal action. It is a precisely dosed drug and dissolves in the blood 15 times faster than oxygen.
Ozone cannot be stored and decomposes again within approximately 20 minutes to oxygen.
The first medically used ozone generator was already developed in 1857 by Werner von Siemens.
Today, the following biological properties of ozone are used in medicine:
– Activation of cellular respiration
– Bactericidal, viricidal and fungicidal action
– Antitumoral properties
– Stimulation of phagocytosis
– Hemodynamic stabilization
– Increase of erythrocytes
– Improvement of capillary blood flow
– Reduction of cholesterol and triglyceride levels and lowering of blood pressure
In the Oxygen-Ozone-Therapy, the symptoms of the main health issues are targeted and disorders that have not yet been discovered are positively influenced.
The blood or red blood cells are supplied with oxygen during therapy. By improving the oxygen content, the energy production increases and the oxygen activates the required cells.
With increasing age, the oxygen content in the blood and thus also in the tissue decreases, the immune system deteriorates. Oxygen deficiency in the blood is the cause of many physical complaints.
Medical ozone therapy strengthens the natural healing powers of the body. The associated improved energy supplied by the oxygen has a positive effect on all organs.
